| Get Cheap Capresso Espresso Makers |
Capresso is one make you will probably look at, they are well known for quality cheaper level coffee makers, this Capresso espresso maker review is on one of their best sellers so I hope it helps you decide what to get.
At times I am amazed by how espresso machine manufacturers are able to produce such top quality makers and sell them at such low prices. The Capresso 303.01 is a prime example of this.
While Capresso isn't the coolest name the design really is. It's compact and stylish and has a feature range that allows you to create espressos, cappuccino, and lattes just as you want them.
It's 800 watt heater can't be compared to say a 1500 watt Gaggia 90951 and is low end in comparison and you do have to wait a few seconds longer (but the price is way lower than the Gaggia of course) And remember that 800 watts is what is consumes, not the output. The Capressos high level of efficiency we've discovered does make up quite a bit for the power shortfall. Warm up time is sub 2 minutes.
The 303.01 is efficient in other ways too.
Brewing is a lot effort job for you. The fact that you can program brew settings for different cup sizes is a good reason too. Plus you can adjust the strength to your personal taste.
Then there is the inbuilt frother that lets you adjust steam output and steam small or big milk quantities in just a few seconds. Different sized cups are managed by the simple swivel feature. Removing the plastic tip is a good user tip though. Why they put these on is beyond me.
You can make your brew safely, too, thanks to the built-in safety mechanism for the boiler cap. The cap stops accidents by use of a double-lock mechanism, I must point out that this does take a bit of effort to learn how to close it easily, but in my opinion the extra safety makes it well worth it. Add to that the protective thumb guard on the filter holder and I think you will agree that this machine has been designed with the user in mind, especially the new espresso machine owner.
The dishwasher safe carafe further demonstrates the design thoughtfulness. If you don't like hand washing and now you don't need to.
The drip tray is removable and takes a few seconds to rinse clean freeing you forever from that irritating task. In addition the Capresso 303.01 is super lightweight which makes moving it about when you want to wipe the exterior and parts a breeze.
Please note however that it isn't a big party coffee maker. The capacity is just 4 cups (fine for mornings). Perfect, In find for one or 2 cups pre work, mid morning or after breakfast while not overdoing it and giving me a coffee peak and trough. So if you need a large party maker get a different machine.
Capresso have added some nice extras too which is unusual for such a low priced expresso maker. The coffee scoop, for example, doubles up as a tamper and is extremely useful.
But don't think of this as a barista high level machine, it is not automatic and will not babysit you. You will have to read the instructions and practice some. But I reckon that's no bad thing for expresso machine virgins. Making your own espresso is part art and a big part of that is the fun of learning.
Ultimately the true joy is in the drinking of your creations. And in that area you won't be disappointed in what the Capresso 303.01 produces for you. At the end of the day you get a fine cup with very little fuss and bother.
